The frame was constructed with reclaimed barnwood and accented with Shou Sugi Ban trim on the inside. It has a raw barnwood edge on the outside. The frame has been finished with a water based polyurethane.
The frame comes with a 1/4" thick mirror and a plywood back to protect the mirror. "Z clips" were attached to the back of the frame for secure hanging. Just attach the counterpart clip to the wall. The frames overall measurements are 1 5/16" x 30" x 48".
The barnwood used to create this frame was salvaged from Minnesota. The trim is some reclaimed wood processed into Shou Sugi Ban. It translates to "burnt cedar board" but is referred to the technique of preserving wood by burning it.
